CULCAIRN FOOTBALL CLUB NEWS

The Culcairn Football Club has a positive start to the 2014 season. With strong teams in all grades and some fantastic coaches for our younger grades. Its great to see our Under 14s and Under 17s winning some games.

On the field the seniors so far we have has some wins and have shown that we can play finals come September! We are getting great numbers to training each week.

The Club secured a grant which will see the club build a much needed new time keepers box and new goal posts which will boost the appearance of the facilities immensely.

Coming up on the 14th June (home game) we have a “Pink Sports Day” where the two senior grades will be wearing specially designed pink football jumpers and socks to raise money for the Breast Cancer Foundation. There will be 50 pink jumpers auctioned off after the game, with the profit from the jumpers going to BCNA. All other teams on the day will have splash of pink as well. Come along for a great day and wear pink to support this great cause!

We are also taking a bus on this years Winery Walkabout, the cost is $69 per person which includes the bus, a wine glass and entry to all 5 wineries, for more information contact the football club.

We have a new website www.culcairnlions.com which is kept up to date with functions, dates and other important information so check it out!

We thank all our current and new club sponsors for 2014, their contribution to the club is much appreciated. We welcome new members and encourage supporters to come along and support us!
